Division of Academic Affairs

Purpose – The General Education Advisory Council is comprised of representatives from each of the Colleges and is chaired by the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs.  This group meets six or seven times during the year (more often if needed) to discuss general education.   Members of the Council serve three year terms and are responsible for the quality and content of general education.  This group is the approval body for new general education requests and periodic review of existing general education credit.
