STAR System
Schedule an Appointment
To schedule an appointment with your undergraduate advisor, click the blue "Get Advising"
button after logging into the STAR System.
The STAR System is available only to OSU's undergraduate students. Graduate students
cannot log in as students (GTAs can log in as professors if they are listed as an
instructor of record in Banner).
Academic Alerts
Academic alerts are used to support the academic success and retention of students.
The system allows instructors to report information about student attendance and performance
to students and advisors, including progress report (good academic performance) or
an academic alert (academic concerns), including excessive absences.
Academic alerts/progress reports are a submitted through the STAR System by instructors
and advisors.
LASSO Tutoring
LASSO tutoring appointments are also scheduled using the STAR System. After logging
in, click the "Get Tutoring or Peer Advising" button to access the online schedule.
All appointments are being held online for this semester.
