Below you'll find information on where to park and how to locate our office inside
OSU's Student Union.
Parking & Accessibility
Student Union Garage
The Student Union Parking Garage provides parking for OSU visitors.
- $2/hour after a 20-minute grace period
- Can be accessed on either University Ave just west of Hester St., or on Hester St., just North of University Ave.
- ADA parking available
- To find our office, enter the double doors on the middle level and take a right down a long hallway, through 2 automatic doors and into the Union Basement.
Metered Parking
Several metered parking options are available around the Student Union.
- Morrill Ave. & Hester St. (in front the General Academic Building or GAB)
- Whitehurst Parking Lot (directly across Library Lawn from Student Union)
- Lowest Level of 4th Street Parking Garage at S. 4th St. & Ramsey St. (connected to the McKnight Center)
Visitor Permit
Visitors can get a day-pass from OSU Parking.
- Visitor permits may be picked up at the Multi-Modal Transportation Facility located at Hall of Fame & Monroe, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., M-F.
- Grants visitors the ability to park in any "Staff" designated surface lots on campus.
- ADA-accessible parking is available in the Classroom Building parking lot North of the Union. (MUST have an OSU visitor permit).
Inside The Union: Finding Our Office
Entrance from Library Lawn, Union Plaza or Atherton
This will place you on the 1st floor of the Union.
- Take the elevator near "Caribou Coffee" to the basement floor.
- Alternatively, just behind the mentioned elevator, you can take the staircase down one floor.
- Once you've reached the basement, make a left and continue past the Student Union Bookstore.
- Look for two large frosted windows with "Pre-Professional..." & "Concurrent..."
Entrance from Hester Street (NE or SE corner)
This will place you on the 2nd floor of the Union.
- Take the elevator near "OSU Police" to the basement floor.
- Once you've reached the basement, make a left and continue past the Student Union Bookstore.
- Look for two large frosted windows with "Pre-Professional..." & "Concurrent..."
