Fall 2025

FRS Intro Course

Freshman Research Scholars should enroll in an intro course within their college during the fall semester, specifically for FRS. Here they will get a better sense of what research can look like. They will be guided in finding a faculty mentor to work with throughout the year.

*This course varies for each college.

Ethics Seminar

Ethics is of critical importance to the proper performance of research.  We will discuss several aspects of the responsible conduct of research and institutional compliance.

DOWNLOAD HANDOUTS:

Completion of RCR training is mandatory for all FRS scholarship recipients and should ideally be completed in the fall.
