Scott McMurry works in the area of wildlife ecology and environmental toxicology, with a strong interest in chemical exposure and effects on wildlife. However, he views environmental stress broadly and his work often centers on how different stressors, including chemicals, land use, habitat loss, and others influence ecological systems. Dr. McMurry has been fortunate to be involved in a variety of laboratory and field based studies with many collaborators in different systems in North and Central America. Recent work has been focused on the influence of stressors on wetland systems and their biotic and abiotic services, particularly as related to amphibians.
