The MLSC offers free drop-in tutoring for all OSU and NOC students enrolled in MATH-prefix courses. The MLSC is a welcoming, inclusive environment for studying mathematics. We are committed to helping students recognize their strengths, enhance their mathematical skills, boost their confidence, and further develop their ability to learn independently.

At the LASSO Center, we offer one-on-one tutoring for over 100 courses. Our team of tutors is dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals by tailoring each one-hour tutoring session to the individual student's needs. We offer both in-person and virtual tutoring options for your convenience.

Math Placement Exam
Oklahoma State University requires the OSU Math Placement Exam to assess your preparation for the math course you plan to take. The OSU Math Placement Exam is designed to find the strengths and weaknesses of your mathematical knowledge, report results to you, and then, if necessary, provide you with online learning modules for improving your knowledge to prepare for the appropriate course.

Courses with the Quantitative Thought & Logical Reasoning designation equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and apply mathematical concepts in real-world contexts. These courses foster critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem solving.
