Regents Professors
Individuals chosen to receive the honorary title of Regents Professor have been judged by their peers to have made extraordinary contributions in their discipline through teaching, research or other scholarly activities, and extension or outreach activities.
Each Regents Professor receives a medallion in recognition of this significant professional achievement. The medallion is worn at commencement and other official academic ceremonies.
