Charter Schools In July 2008, the OSU/A&M Board of Regents approved a policy allowing Oklahoma State University to consider sponsorship of a charter school meeting nine essential elements of Professional Development Schools. Oklahoma State University greatly values school-university partnerships and a shared commitment to school improvement. Sponsorship of a charter school will be considered only if this commitment is demonstrated through a collaborative and innovative process that is consistent with the mission and goals of the University.
